The San Juan College (SJC) Henderson Fine Arts Center (HFAC) Art Gallery, invites you to One Navajo exhibit artwork by Ed Singer.

Painting of a crowd with tribal colors

This retrospective exhibit of Navajo artist Ed Singer will showcase paintings, pastels, and drawings spanning his long career, from the 1970s to the present. Singer’s blend of Old Master techniques with Native driven subjects and narratives challenges stereotypes in Southwestern art and Hollywood, both in terms of landscape and portraiture. Singer uses art to proudly own his identity and to illustrate Natives thriving and secure in their way of being.
